The IVEF believes in connecting teachers and students to opportunity. Through our Grants and Program funding, we help teachers and students embrace new ways of learning, solving problems, and working together. Faculty and Administrators of SASD are invited and encouraged to apply for grants to provide innovative offerings in their classrooms, which otherwise would not be supported by the school district's budget. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Pathway Career Center:

​SAHS Pathway 360° ensures that all students start considering their post-high school goals as they plan and select courses during their four years in high school. The hope is that engaging students in goal-related conversations will make their high school education more relevant while preparing them to make more informed post-high school decisions. There is no better way to do this than to create interactive spaces that provide students AND the community at large opportunities to meet and explore career options right here in the Indian Valley. There are so many possibilities to explore! 
The Cindy Kilmer '73 Fund ~ SASD Greenhouse:

By bringing the resources of the community to our schools, the IVEF provided the funding allowing the design and building of a custom greenhouse utilized for multi- disciplinary purposes in SASD. This 2500 sq. ft. space accommodates an aquaponics system, a traditional growing area (raised metal tables) and a classroom area. It is a point of pride for our students, teachers and community! There is always something growing on in the greenhouse! 
Dual Enrollment Scholarships: Montgomery County Community College:
In partnership with the SAHS Guidance Department, the IVEF is pleased to provide financial support to students based on need. Any SAHS Senior or Junior students, who are eligible to take courses at Montgomery County Community College, may receive full or partial funding for dual enrollment classes. Funding is provided by the Indian Valley Education Foundation thanks to the generous support of community donors. 
In Memoriam:

Directing funds in memory of a loved one is a very personal process. The IVEF is grateful to have the opportunity to work in partnership with families to identify meaningful programs that will provide the legacy of a life well lived to continue. The Greenhouse is a direct result of memorial funding serving multiple generations. Once memorial funds can be allocated, the IVEF will accept ongoing donations to ensure the long-term success and viability of the program.
